Last year, Katie asked me to continue a tradition.
Every spring, David took photos of Sophie and Leo amongst the daffodils, beginning with the year of Sophie's ultrasound photo. After losing him so suddenly, the thought of that tradition ending felt unbearable. So we kept it going.
Now? Katie and the kids are preparing to say goodbye to the family home, including the beautiful treehouse David built for them with his own hands. A place full of muddy feet, toy tea parties, swing races, belly laughs, cuddles, and ordinary little moments that quietly become priceless one day.
So before life packed everything into boxes, we photographed it exactly as it is now.
