Receiving feedback like this honestly makes me so happy 😊

“Its was a joy working with Kasia on creating a portfolio of great photos for our glamping site promotions. Our bookings this year have hugely increased in part due to our high quality photography.”

I’m genuinely so glad that my photography could help increase the bookings for this beautiful glamping site.

This particular shoot was also great fun to work on. Originally the brief was much smaller, but it quickly grew to include five extra models — which definitely added a bit of a creative challenge while planning and photographing the session 😄 Thankfully, everyone was absolutely amazing to work with. The atmosphere felt natural, relaxed and authentic, and it was clear that everybody genuinely enjoyed the experience too.

For me, good branding and promotional photography is never just about showing a space or a business. It’s about helping potential clients imagine themselves there and creating images that feel welcoming, real and full of atmosphere.

I absolutely loved the whole experience — and seeing results like increased bookings makes it even more rewarding 😊

If you run a glamping site, Airbnb, creative business or small independent brand and would like fresh, natural photography and videography content for your website and social media, feel free to get in touch.

A few weeks ago I finally had the chance to collaborate with Miriam Vincent — the artist behind Minnie LaLa Design, based in Grosmont.

Miriam and I first met a few years ago while I was photographing the Bee Festival in Monmouth. Since then, our paths crossed a few more times — including last year during the Revibe Festival at Melville Theatre Abergavenny, where once again I was on photography duty and Miriam was running one of the workshops.

That’s where the first ideas about working together started to appear.

At the end of April, we finally made it happen.

The idea behind the shoot was simple — to document a day in the life of an artist. A calm morning walk through Grosmont, taking inspiration from nature, enjoying the sunshine and slowing down for a moment. We wandered around Grosmont Castle, visited the local church, exchanged a few books, and revisited memories connected to the place.

Then we moved back to Miriam’s studio, where the focus shifted towards documenting the creative process itself — preparing canvases, mixing paints, creating textures and slowly building a piece of art from scratch.

This was also my first proper opportunity to combine photography and videography together during a branding session. I recently started offering photo + video packages, and this shoot became the perfect project to experiment with that approach. It was also my first time properly using a gimbal for filming — and I absolutely loved it.

For this session I worked entirely with natural and ambient light. I deliberately chose not to use flash or additional photography lighting, as I love preserving the natural atmosphere and authentic feel of a space whenever possible.

I also love working with shallow depth of field and often experiment with shifting focus to create more depth, atmosphere and visual interest within both my photographs and videos. It’s one of my favourite creative techniques for drawing attention to small details and creating a softer, more cinematic feel.

I came home tired, inspired and genuinely excited about the results.

I’ve already shared a few sneak preview images and the first reel with Miriam, and this week I’ll be concentrating on editing the rest of the photos and videos before delivering the final collection.

Usually I leave reels without music so clients can fully personalise them for their own branding and social media style, but this time I found a track that perfectly matched the relaxed, happy morning walk atmosphere.

It would be lovely to hear what you think about this collaboration 😊

And if you’re a creative business owner, artist, maker or small independent brand looking for fresh content, storytelling imagery or short-form video/reels — feel free to get in touch.
High quality, authentic visual content helps people connect with your business, understand your brand personality and creates a stronger first impression across websites and social media.

Nils Kavanagh Trio – Black Mountain Jazz, Melville Theatre Abergavenny, Abergavenny (26/04/2026)

Nils Kavanagh – piano
Ursula Harrison – double bass
Sam Green – drums & percussion

Another fantastic night of live jazz at Black Mountain Jazz, this time featuring the Nils Kavanagh Trio, performing original music as part of an album launch tour.

I really enjoyed this gig — it had such a strong sense of musical storytelling and interaction between the musicians.

It was also probably the most challenging gig I have photographed since becoming the resident photographer at the club.
I had to stay constantly alert to capture all the movement, gestures and facial expressions happening throughout the set.
There was so much happening in every direction, but I absolutely loved it.
That kind of intensity and unpredictability is exactly the atmosphere I enjoy working in the most.

I was also doing videography at the same time as photography, which definitely kept me on my toes… let’s just say there was no chance of switching off for even a second, lol.

A lovely little moment from the evening: Ian Mann’s (Jazzman) wife Pam is always knitting during the gigs, and she presented the finished scarf to Debs Hancock during the interval — as seen in the photo.
The scarf was knitted using a pattern from one of the knitting books I gave her a few years ago.
That book originally travelled with me from Canada when I moved back to Poland, and somehow followed me again to Wales — and clearly still finding new life here 🙂

At the beginning of April, I spent an afternoon at Woodlands Farm Wales in Penrhos near Raglan photographing their beautiful glamping site for updated Canopy and Stars promotional material and bookings.

Charlie and Craig needed fresh images of the accommodation, updated drone photographs of the whole site, and aerial images with boundary maps and markers showing the location of each stay. Thankfully, the weather decided to cooperate - perfect conditions for drone photography and one of those spring afternoons with gorgeous golden light.

The original plan involved one model.

Somehow, by the end of it, we had seven people, two dogs, musical instruments, a yoga session and a very relaxed atmosphere that suited the location perfectly.

And honestly, that’s exactly what I wanted the photographs to feel like.

With glamping and hospitality photography, I think it’s important to show more than just the space itself. Traditional real estate photography is usually about documenting every room and detail clearly and accurately. But with glamping sites, Airbnbs and holiday accommodation, people are often booking an experience and a feeling just as much as a place to stay.

Can they imagine themselves sitting outside with coffee in the morning?
Reading a book in the evening light?
Sharing food, conversations and slowing down for a couple of days?

That’s the part I try to capture.

Rather than heavily posing everyone, I simply encouraged people to enjoy the environment naturally - chatting around the table, playing music, wandering around the site and making the most of a beautiful spring afternoon. My photography style has always been candid, relaxed and documentary-led, and this session suited that approach perfectly.

I first visited Woodlands Farm Wales back in 2016 when Charlie and Craig opened their gardens for the National Garden Scheme. We quickly became friends and over the years I somehow became their resident photographer.

And honestly, I can wholeheartedly recommend Woodlands Farm Wales as a wonderful place to spend time and properly switch off. Alongside their beautiful glamping accommodation, they also offer pottery experiences, gorgeous gardens, ceramics, group stays and creative countryside escapes in one of the loveliest corners of Monmouthshire.

If you run a glamping site, Airbnb, holiday accommodation or hospitality business and feel your current images no longer reflect the atmosphere and experience you offer, feel free to get in touch - I’d love to hear about your project.
