Beautiful Poppy & Daniel who were married yesterday at Armathwaite Hall Weddings.
Although it was stormy this fab couple didn’t let the weather get in the way - they were amazing and braved the weather in order to get some amazing photos - thanks for stepping outside and trusting me - I hope that it was worth getting momentarily cold for!

// YESTERDAY -Belonged to Armani and Niall who were married at the fabulous - a wonderful wedding venue nestled in the upper Eden valley.
The couple were blessed with the weather it almost felt like we were abroad - Unbelievable for March and of course that meant we got the golden hour in the meadow of Eden Barn 🧡

I had the pleasure of working alongside some first class suppliers who all helped to make this magical day!

Chloe & Scott were married at Langholm Parish Church and had their reception in a marquee at Langholm cricket club.

Such a fun filled day - a lovely couple to work with and dare I say we actually had fun dashing in and out of the showers for photos!

This venue is set on the shores of the breath-taking Bassenthwaite Lake in the heart of Cumbria.
There are four different ceremony venues to choose from, including the stunning outside gazebo and a rustic earthy woodland.

We have some beautiful venues here in Cumbria and I am going to feature some of the places I photograph at which may help brides decide on a magical venue ....
- Here is a throwback to a lovely wedding at Rose Castle ❤

Rose Castle has stunning grounds, its own amazing chapel and makes the ideal place to have your wedding if you want the following-

Grandeur but homely feel

+ a chapel (so no need to go to a church first for your ceremony) Plus you can have a non religous ceremony conducted by a registrar but in the chapel setting

On site accommodation for guests
Wedding all in one place

It had grandeur but a cosy feel and your guests can stay with you in the many bedrooms of the castle too!
This means that it becomes a real family weekend with family arriving the night before and enjoying a catch up with family before your big day!

Prior to Jordan and Abbey’s wedding I took them to Powfoot beach for a pre-wedding photoshoot with their son Harrison.

Meet ‘Bluebell’ a fabulous vintage Triumph that Sarah and Jack hired from Kippford classic car hire in Dumfries.

Many couples travel to Gretna Green to elope and Jack and Sarah wanted to do their wedding their way! Driving down to Gretna the couple pulled into
Anvil Hall - the backdrop for their ceremony with Sandy Jamieson-Barr doing a fab job of officiating!

Then it was off for a photoshoot and a spin in Bluebell -
Chilled vibes was the theme of this photoshoot - lots of laughter and relaxed imagery 💙

Joseph & Natalie were married at Armathwaite Hall on 11th July - and here is their finished album design.
There are so many wonderful places for photographs at Armathwaite Hall Hotel and Spa and I am looking forward to photographing lots more weddings in 2026 at this amazing wedding venue ❤
