The Falls of Bruar

Whilst making the long drive up to Northern Scotland, we stopped off at the House of Bruar and went for a little wander up to the waterfalls behind. The low cloud and fog made for a wonderfully atmospheric scene and the fallen tree looks great in my opinion!

Let me know your thoughts!

Ogwen Valley under the Milky Way

After hearing of the passing of the great Alyn Wallace, I thought I'd share a photo of mine which Alyn's phenomenal book helped me take. Such a good person, taken too soon.

Waterfall

This waterfall is affectionately known as "Waterfall" on OS maps, just off the road through Glen Coe. This was a bit precarious due to the terrain, but I think I pulled this photo off!

Eas Chia-Aig Waterfalls

Not far from Fort William are these beautiful waterfalls, just by the side of the road with an incredibly convenient car park! I would highly recommend a visit!

The two shots have slightly different shutter speeds, let me know which one you prefer best!

Tryfan Under the Milky Way

What a night this was! Having agreed the following morning off work, I set out on my adventure to capture the midnight sky over Tryfan!

I went to this location back in 2020 and worked out how epic this shot could be. So now, a few years later and more experienced, I went back to remaster it!

This is a mash up of a few photos. The sky was a tracked panoramic and the foreground was a blue hour panoramic, stitched together in Photoshop.

Trees

I was driving along, not far from Perth, I noticed the trees poking through the cloud on the other side of the valley. I HAD to stop and get a photo! It's super simple but its effective!

Let me know what you think!

Reflections

What a beautiful scene as I made my way from Perth to Glencoe. This is Loch Tay, from its southern shore, with some epic conditions.

Thankfully I managed to grab this shot before a boat and some ducks went through the scene and ruined the reflection!

Crossroads

A bit of an abstract image here. A crossroad of cracks in the rock.

The sunset was a bit of a bust, too much cloud. So I looked down to see what I could find! This crossroads reminded me of a very small village on a map surrounded by fields!
