Remembrance Sunday 10th November 2024 Great Waltham.
Some of the photos I took of the parade and wreath laying.
Service was well attended by many locals, on a lovely autumn morning.

Printed today ready for launch on Sunday.

My photography assignment this month was long exposure. As the clouds were travelling fast across the sky, I thought that's what I would use for my assignment.

Wild and Rooted, Humphreys Farm Sam and Kate Squires had an open day on their farm. There was a walk around the fields along with a very informative talk on how Sam runs his farm. The Cattle are fed by grazing fields of Herbal ley, moved to feed on different sections so the plants can recover.
Sam talked at length about biodiversity and sustainability. This modern method of Farming is very good for the Cattle and the Soil.

HERE'S A MEMORY FROM 7TH JULY 2014 WHEN THE TOUR DE FRANCE CAME THROUGH GREAT WALTHAM.
The village put on a proper display that day to welcome such a prestigious event, and I don't know how many hundreds of people crammed into the village.
Sorry to post so many photographs, but you never know you might see yourself in the crowds, or even getting a pack of Haribo sweets hit you in the face !!

Photos of the Ride London 2024 Cycle trials that came through Great Waltham village on 27/5/2024. First bikes came through the village around 8.20 am, on a grey damp morning. Rain overnight but it held off most the day.
