A perfect wedding day, almost ruined by this Toastmaster who tried to assert his authority and remove us and the couple from the venue THEY HAVE BOOKED for their wedding!!
He was the Toastmaster for a different wedding (at the same venue) but his couple and guests hadn’t even arrived yet!
The Toastmasters code of conduct states - “members to maintain the highest ethical standards and a standard of excellence. Members agree to refrain from discrimination, harassment, bullying, and unethical conduct, fostering a safe, respectful environment”
Not from this guy.
He had the audacity to shout at us in front of our couple and try to rush us out of the area which was crazy. The couple had even booked the bridal suite which was just upstairs from where this encounter took place. He treated us like we were kids.
Luckily our amazing couple carried on and ignored his disgusting behaviour!
I later checked with the hotel manager and they assured us we could take photographs wherever we liked!
