Wyedean Rally 2025.
Firstly huge congrats to winners on taking yesterday's win and the series win.
What can I say, amazing colours firstly, stages were all fantastic also, marshalls 💪🏻🫶🏻 for all the great work involved and to the organisers.
For myself, great meeting all my Motorsport photography pals I've not seen for a while, will be changing this however in 2026 = more events.
Sadly on Ss4 my 70-200 lens decided it would fail 😔 convo with the insurance company tomorrow as need a replacement pronto. This meant either using a super short lens or the 400mm prime for the rest of the day, which is what I ended up doing.
Then for the afternoon stages, for some reason my maps had saved incorrectly in my file, so I went and setup 2 amazing locations, only to hear the rumble of the cars through the forest, to realise I'd setup in the wrong place 😂 , meaning I missed 75% of the final stage I'd been waiting for. Let's just say I hiked Upto Ss13 from where I was, ah well, live and learn. Had a nice walk back with trying to find his wheel and tyre off his R5 which had sheared off on SS4 so something different to breakup the long walk back to my Golf, not all lost, a spirited drive home to flush out the frustration.
