When the experience exceeds expectations. On both sides of the camera.

Yago is a young actor who came to me for his first proper acting headshots. And what a photoshoot it was! We discussed the looks and the wardrobe. We discussed his way of getting into the right mindset. I tailored my approach. Yago followed my direction. Both of us, on each side of the camera, fine-tuning the mood and expressions for each shot. And we created looks and characters, surprising ourselves and each other. In a good way, I should add 🙂

We brought up different sides of him and his inner “acting chameleon”. From strong, confident with ease, to someone not be messed with, to an easygoing boy next door; to a boss level character; to vulnerable and hurt; to an intrigued and curious one, plus many more. Yago, showing his range in a way that captivates and makes a strong impression. Subtle. Believable. Like a skilled professional even though he’s just starting out.

Well done Yago Campos Baños! I’ll remember the name. And I’m sure many others will too.

Yago’s words reflected the experience too:
“With these headshots, I’ll be taking my first real steps toward my dream of becoming an actor.
