Not long back from such a beautiful holiday in Portugal with my girls and my friends- the best of people.

The 12 nights away in the sun, eating the most amazing food, drinking w**e, and also plenty of reflection time on what’s important to me in life these days, and more so, what isn’t.

This photo was taken just after a beautiful meal on a beach restaurant, and as everyone else walked ahead I spotted it was just me ‘on the beach’, so to speak so I gave myself a wave and snapped this photo, which will always remind me of how grateful I was feeling at that very moment for who and what I have in my life.

Bit of a fun shot from Jaclyn and Steven’s day yesterday 😎

I’m always posting lots of photos of the couples at weddings, but what you don’t see is some of the things that happen in the background, which helps the wedding day run smoothly, help couples relax-the list goes on.

On arrival yesterday I went to see Steven, to say hello and introduce Lawrence, before spending the morning with the girls as I usually do.

Nerves sometimes get the better of everyone on wedding days- yesterday Steven opened the door in his pants 😍 and said he was having a nightmare with the hotel iron and his brand new shirt.

I asked him to let me in, and I said I’d help out- so in I went with my ironing skills and sorted his shirt out quick style. Nae bother!

It’s important to pick suppliers who work FOR the couple and the day, and aren’t always chasing content- the good guys like me and Lawrence 😎

WHAT a day yesterday down the coast at The Gailes Hotel & Spa for such an amazing couple.

I hit it off with Jaclyn and Steven the minute we met up a few weeks back, after tons of what’s app messages- you just get a feeling you’re gonna click with folk, and that’s exactly how I felt when we met. The loveliest people- such cool people.

Yesterday topped off a wee incredible block of wonderful weddings, the last month or two has been SO nice and we’ve been privileged to be around some of the most wonderful couples.

Jaclyn and Steven had the day of their lives yesterday- the early morning rain cleared and the sun came out, and everything was perfect for them- I was buzzing for them.

This was also my last wedding before I go on a well deserved holiday with my girls, so here’s some pics of the day, just after I’ve closed my MacBook and won’t see it for a couple of weeks 🕺

Huge huge congratulations to these two- I mean just look at them- truly two of the nicest people I’ve ever photographed.

Less than 24 hours to go for Emma and Alan and their big day at a venue I’ve not photographed in a while, but so buzzing to be back at Sherbrooke Castle Hotel in Glasgow.

I met this amazing couple two years ago at another amazing wedding, and they booked me soon after when Alan finally asked the question and Emma said yes ❤️

They both took a trip ‘doon the watter’ to see me this week and we caught such a beautiful, beautiful night on the banks of the Clyde.

Back to back weddings for me this weekend and it’s gonna be a hot couple of days!

See you all tomorrow, can’t wait to see you two and also catch up with two of my former couples who are now good friends ❤️

This might not look like it’s anything to do with a wedding, but it is. Scroll and see ➡️

At weddings when the couples eat, we’re normally looked after so well by the couple and venue, and get such a nice dinner which is SO appreciated after photographing all day from morning until after the speeches, and before the night time party.

Usually it’s a wedding meal, which is always lovely, but on occasion it’s something like this- and for auld Muzza this is heaven on a plate and in a glass ❤️

Hannah and Ross’s wedding at the amazing Dockyard Social was on one the hottest days of this year so far- getting to sit down with Lawrence and enjoy such an incredible pizza from Pizza B.Goode and washed down a beautiful cold pint of Beavertown Brewery

Doesn’t get much better than this ❤️🍕❤️ just look at Lordo’s happy face Lawrence Scott

At weddings when the couples eat, we’re normally looked after so well by the couple and venue, and get such a nice dinner which is SO appreciated after photographing all day from morning until after the speeches, and before the night time party.
