NEW EVENING SESSIONS AT THE HIDE

The Activity in the evening is excellent as one of our resident kingfisher is roosting very close to the hide. The photographs we are getting are great especially when the bird sits on a low branch above the water as the background is black.

So we have added some evening sessions to the calendar from 17:00 - 19:30 for just £45pp.

The Kingfisher photo hide Streatley, West Berks.

Has been nothing short of epic the last week. Those that booked on have seen so much activity some left after taking 5000 photos and running out of room on their cards. A few came twice.

We have had 4 youngsters including dad visiting and now they are fending for themselves but 1 has decided that the area outside the hide is home and is there periodically from sunrise to sunset, occasionally joined by one of its siblings.

The privilege of seeing these stunning birds so close I can’t describe. And the photos well you judge for yourself.

Remember this is a non baited hide!

Its been a busy weekend at The Kingfisher Hide.

3 Young Kingfishers have moved in and roosting nearby, Dad is periodically feeding them and they are putting on a good show from as early as 5am. here's a couple of shots from yesterdays session.

The youngsters will be dispersing soon so the next few days will be special.
