My friend said something to me recently that I haven't been able to stop thinking about.

"I don't know if I actually remember it, or if I just remember the photograph."

And honestly? That's not a sad thing. That's the photograph doing exactly what it's supposed to do.

Our brains are not perfect recorders. Childhood especially - so much of it slips through the gaps before we even have the language to hold onto it. But a photograph on a wall, a print in a frame, an album pulled out on a rainy afternoon - those become the anchors. The things our memory wraps itself around and calls real.

When children grow up seeing images of themselves - really seen, in ordinary moments, in their own home, with the people they love - they're not just looking at pictures. They're building a story about who they are and where they came from.

I was loved here. This was real. This happened.

That's why I do what I do. Not to create perfect images. To create the ones that your children will one day look at and feel something settle inside them - even if they can't quite remember the day itself.

The photograph becomes the memory. And that's enough. That's everything.

A few things have been on my mind lately. 🤍

The world is moving fast. Our lives are full. And everywhere we look, we're being fed images of impossible perfection.

I started this business in 2019 and while so much has changed since then - what I want to create hasn't. It just feels more important now than ever.

Life isn't meant to be perfect.

It's a bit messy. A little chaotic.

And it's also full of love, joy, and laughter.

The hard part is slowing down enough to actually feel it and celebrate it.

My work isn't about pretty outfits or golden-hour sunsets.
It's about your connection with each other.

The little things your kids do right now that you'll one day ache to remember.

The season of life you're in, exactly as it is.

These are photographs that tell your story.

Artful and meaningful.

Images that look beautiful on your walls and hold something real when you look back on them years from now.
