Flour on the floor, sauce on the cheeks, and a three-year-old who insisted on "extra extra extra" toppings π
This is exactly the kind of session I live for. We started in the kitchen making pizzas together - hands in the dough, more mess than mixture, giggles the whole way through.
Then out into the garden for playhouse adventures, storytime on the grass, and all the ordinary little moments that happen when you're just... home.
No posing. No "look at the camera and smile." Just real life, unfolding exactly as it does β messy, joyful, and completely them.
These are the moments we rush past because they feel too normal to remember. But give it five years and this is exactly what you'll want to hold onto. The pizza-dough hands. The garden role playing. The way they read together, heads bent over the same page.
This is why I do documentary sessions. Not for the perfect shot - for the true one. π€
I'm now only taking bookings on Saturdays, so spaces are limited - a handful of sessions a month, kept for the families who want their real, everyday moments held onto like this.
