It was an honour to take these images for the phenomenal Graham McIntyre👏🏼
Graham took on his first Hyrox race in Glasgow in March 2025 and came 1st in his category with the amazing time of 1.11.24👏🏼
He then received an email in May stating that he had come in the top 3 in the world in the adaptive category that Graham had previously raced in Glasgow. He only had 48 hours to accept his invitation to the Hyrox World Championship in Chicago, all to Graham’s shock he accepted!!! He had 3 weeks until the big race in Chicago, and had to plan everything in a short space of time, but he did and off he went to compete!!
Graham felt this was a privilege as it’s the first time HYROX has introduced an adaptive category to the World Championships. He gave it his all and came out with a 2nd place overall in the world!! With the amazing time and a new PR of 1:09:10🏆
In Grahams words…
“I am still on cloud nine from this achievement and I’m happy I could set an example of someone who was involved in a serious car accident 27 years ago, that no matter how difficult and cruel life could be, things can only get better if you never give up on yourself 🏴”
Myself and so many others are so incredibly proud of him and his amazing achievement!!
His determination and motivation is so inspiring to many others out there, especially in the Hyrox community. Keep smashing life Graham, you’re a huge inspiration to everyone out there!!
