There we have it… last family has been in and I just wanted to do a video to say thank you for all your support over the years. You will never know how grateful I am for all the memories you’ve given me and for the trust you had in my ability to tell your stories.
If you’re looking for a studio that does family shoots and are great with kids then I can’t recommend Sam from www.slnphotography.co.uk enough. She’s incredible and does the school and Christmas shoots as well.

So this is it... the LAST EVER LEMON BABIES DAYS at the Made Portraits studio. On Wednesday the 7th of June, Thursday the 8th of June and Friday the 9th of June, we will be wrapping up the project that has been going for 9 years now. ***THE STUDIO IS CLOSING DOWN***
At the end of June, Made Portraits will officially be CLOSING IT'S DOORS... for good!
For anyone that has a voucher to come in to the studio, please get in touch on [email protected] as soon as possible and we can book you in before the studio closes.
The last 10 years have included so many incredible moments that I will treasure from the amazing families I’ve met, the cheeky toddlers who made me laugh and the hundreds of babies that came in for their hilarious Lemon Babies sessions. Over the last 10 years, I achieved 3 Associate Qualifications, my Craftsman Qualification and most recently, a Fellowship Qualification which was beyond my wildest imagination.
I produced the most personal and emotional photographic project, ‘You Were Our Baby’ thanks to a collective of extremely brave volunteers which has gone on to help many couples open up about their own losses.
I won no less than 20 Photographer of the Year Titles in various categories with various professional Associations including International Commercial Photographer of the Year 2022. Although Made Portraits is closing, I walk away with nothing but immense pride in what I built and I can honestly say it has been a privilege to capture so many wonderful families at the studio over the years. I am fortunate enough to say that I’ve had clients that have gone on to become good friends.
Saying all that, this is not a sad day for me or my family. I am extremely excited about what I’m moving on to do. It will be a new challenge in a new role working with a talented team of people and that is extremely exciting. I have to thank each and every person that has ever come in to the studio over the years, that have shared my images or simply liked my page. Your support will always be appreciated and my family and I are truly grateful.
You can still come in for a session if you want to have one last family shoot and I will be doing the LAST EVER LEMON BABIES day to be announce SOON!

This Month, Made Portraits will celebrate our 10 year anniversary and so to mark the occasion, we'll be doing competitions and some of our favourite special shoot style days. After a year off, WE'RE BACK WITH OUR CHRISTMAS MINI SESSIONS and we are delighted!
The Dates: Tuesday the 25th of October; Friday the 28th of October and Sunday the 30th of October (half term)
Cost for the Shoot: £65
This includes:
• A 30 Minute Studio Session
• 7 Different Christmas Themed Images
• 2 digital images of your choice (via download)
Any additional digital images may be purchased:
1-5 images - £30 each
5-10 images - £15 each
10+ images - £10 each
A £30 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your session. Sessions will be held for 48 hours, if deposit isn't received then the space will be offered to someone else.
