Beautiful Glasgow

I was out with the drone on Sunday & noticed the Scott monument had been uncovered.

I took this 360 pano from above it. Whilst progress does seem to be a little slow on the square, even at 8:30 on a Sunday morning there were workers in working away.
Please no angry faces on the like button, the last time I posted an update from here Facebook restricted my account as it got a lot of angry impressions :-P

I am not too old, but I remember the choking fumes under there before the big blowers were installed and the cars going through curtailed, changed days 😀

It is great to see this water tower in Cranhill getting the attention it deserves, it is a classic example of fine brutalist architecture with a set purpose.
Paul Sweeney MSP Has submitted an application to Historic Environment Scotland who now have it open for comments with a proposal for Cat B listing like the protection given to the Provan Gas Works & Govanhill Baths along with many more historically significant buildings in Glasgow.

I was out in Glasgow the other week testing a lens / film / camera combination.
And as ever I end up stoating past the duke.

I think this was the day before the old firm game as he had a red white and blue cone on, with his normal cone placed beside him

He has had all sorts of shapes colours and types of cones on his head.
This does seem to be one thing that brings all glaswegians together, the love of the cone and the desire to get one the colour you want on him.
