This songs for everyone who’s felt so hopelessly trapped in a vicious cycle but also kinda felt like actually know what, I could probably just stay here forever.

Even if it’s fu***ng up my entire life and ruining every relationship I have, even if he plays me like a yo-yo and has me questioning my self worth checking through his following list every hour to see what other burds photies he’s liking, even if im so paranoid about him that am actually fu***ng him about w every Tom, Dick n Harry off a hinge, even if this gear is eroding my nose and destroying my fu***ng soul. Lydia Lunch Official Page and Marc Hurtado performing the songs of innovative NYC electro-punk duo Su***de and Alan Vega at Stereo

Since 1970 when they billed themselves as “punk music”, Vega and Martin Rev assaulted their audience with grinding but melodic sonic blasts using synths, drum machines and found objects. Dressed in stylized street gang outfits and wielding motorcycle chains, their shows sometimes ended in violence, and got themselves banned from CBGB just before punk took off.

Lydia was right there, and became friends with Vega and Rev, which led to her first fiery foray writing and singing with uncompromising No-Wave band Teenage Jesus and the Jerks alongside James Chance. Lydia is a writer and poet, musician and actress, and a powerful force in New York’s avant music scene.

Moroccan-born Marc Hurtado is a dynamic French experimental musician, artist, producer and film director, having collaborated with many leading avant garde artists (including Alan Vega) on over 50 albums, and 30 highly regarded films including Infinite Dreamers.

Together, they have made one hell of a glorious maelstrom on tour!
