It is with the greatest sadness that I need to announce the closure of my little studio. Hopefully this isn’t forever but it will be for a while at least.
As some of you now know I’ve been suffering with a ‘bad back’ for years now and unfortunately late last year I found out I have a tumour growing on my spinal cord. This initially just caused pain which I was managing fine while working. However over the last couple of weeks it has been effecting my legs. I honestly thought I’d have a lot longer before we got to this point (at least until the end of the year) but things seem to be getting worse faster than anyone expected. I’ll be having a fairly big surgery in the coming months and will see how I am after and if I’ll be able to return I will.
Please know I haven’t made this decision lightly. I’m so angry and sad that this decision has been made for me.
Thank you to a couple of my clients who shared their health experiences. Your stories really gave me the push to keep perusing help to get a diagnosis and explanation of why I was in so much pain. Words really can’t ever explain for how great full I am that you shared your experiences. This is why I’m sharing this with you all.
It has been the biggest privilege photographing all of your beautiful families. I truly appreciate every single one of you who have supported my little dream.
To the handful of people booked in for bluebell minis, I’ll be in touch this week.
It’s not goodbye, it’s see you all in a little while.
