I have my first solo exhibition , it’s on all week if you fancy seeing some of my new work. This project Family Portrait is very close to my heart and based around home & habitat. I grew up in Garnethill and after living away from my family home for 4 years I found myself living back where I grew up. This is an emotional response to appreciating where you come from. I used the polaroid medium and found it most effective in conveying the individuality of each person, family and habitat in which we reside. I experimented with polaroid transfers onto raw materials in the form of shells and rocks in which myself, my mother and sisters have collected over the years.
