Hello all!

I have put together a short video to mark a little bit of my local history from my home village of Drumnadrochit and its surrounding area.

It has been over 70 years since John Rhodes Cobb made his ill-fated world water speed record attempt on Loch Ness on the 29th of September 1952.

To mark this anniversary I captured parts of the events held by the Glen Urquhart Heritage Group to honour his memory and his impact on my local community.

An exhibition was held on the 30th of September and the 1st of October 2022 to mark this occasion.

After 5 years of development, production and ex*****on, my full documentary of MS, Mexico & Me: Aileen's Story is now complete! 🎉
This doc started as my final project at University ( Edinburgh Napier University ) and has turned into a personal project ever since.
My crew and I were very lucky to return to the Isle of Lewis to visit Aileen and Simon just before the lockdown kicked off in 2020.

The documentary now has a full composition of music that was written and recorded by the excellent and wonderfully talented David R Simpson 🎶

HSCT is the stem cell treatment which Aileen underwent to treat her MS when she went to Mexico and this piece is dedicated to raising awareness of this and trying to make it more readily available in Scotland and the rest of the UK.

MS, Mexico & Me: Aileen's Story Part 2 is out now!! 🎞🥳🍿

Please check out the sequel to my award-winning documentary which follows Aileen 2 years after her stem cell treatment for MS. Thank you to all of my wonderful cast and crew! It has been a pleasure to tell Aileen's story and I am so glad that we were able to visit Lewis and capture the final part right before the lockdown hit. The timing was incredible, thank you!
