**SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT**
Covid-19 has affected us all and my heart goes out to everyone who has had to make the heart-breaking decision this year to postpone their beautiful wedding.
With my business on pause, I have had time to do some soul searching and planning for the future. I realised that in the past year I flipped the shop sign to ‘closed – offsite to set up a wedding’ – 3 times more often than I flipped it to ‘open for business’. My passion is, and always has been, wedding and event florals, not retail. I had visions of me welcoming loads of customers through the door, chatting about weird and wonderful home décor, but in reality, I simply can’t be in two places at once. The shop had become a glorified office and storage unit.
Next month I hand over the keys to the Finnieston shop to an awesome person and incredible business – Annette and her artisan chocolates Sugarsnap! But not before I sell off lots of excess stock – look out for sale dates!!
I’ll be sad to leave my Finnieston community behind but delighted to be escaping to the country and looking forward to a 2021 diary that is bursting at the seams with beautiful weddings all over the country!
The move will not impact on the design, delivery or set up of wedding flowers, all it means is that I will now offer meetings on certain dates at MAYZE Coffee & Food in Finnieston instead of at the shop.
