Took the old Pentax K1000 out for a spin around South Shields on Saturday night to test my new light meter, and have a go at C41 processing. Still holding up well for a 45 year old camera.

Processing turned out great apart from the water marks after drying..... if anyone has any decent tips for budget film drying methods, please let me know 😅
Love the green tones off the Lomography Metropolis film, though 🤌

Re-Edit of a favourite

Lightning lighting up the night sky somewhere near Papua New Guinea on the way to Australia.

There were dotted thunder storms in all directions, so I lined up a composition and exposed for the stars, then kept my figures crossed that the lighting wouldn't be too bright for the shot. After a couple of hours of waiting for the lighting to strike in the right place, I was blown away by this one.

It's not perfect, but long exposure shots are hard on a moving ship, and I definitely learnt a lot about the capabilities of the R5, such a insane camera!
