This will be one of the most spectacular stages of the site’s ongoing decommissioning, with all eight massive towers coming down in a carefully planned, controlled demolition. These structures have dominated the skyline for decades, and their removal will mark a huge visual change for the area.

Exciting Announcement! New Pet Search and Rescue Team in North Lincolnshire.

We’re thrilled to be volunteering our time to support K9 Rural Rangers, a newly formed team with years of experience in trapping and drone tracking of lost dogs across North Lincolnshire. 🐶🚁

Although K9 Rural Rangers is a new group, its members are highly experienced specialists in drone search operations and humane trapping, working tirelessly to reunite lost dogs with their families.

At Horizon Drone Co, we’re proud to assist with thermal drone searches, helping to locate missing pets quickly and safely. By working together, we’re giving owners the best chance of bringing their beloved dogs home.

💛 What We Do Together:
✅ Thermal Drone Searches – Scanning vast areas to pinpoint lost dogs.
✅ Expert Trapping Support – Safely securing nervous or stray pets.
✅ Guidance & Advice – Helping owners through every step of the search.

What an incredible moment! The 200m chimney at Cottam Power Station was brought down in a controlled demolition earlier today, and we were there to capture it from the sky.

Our drones recorded every second of this historic event, and we’ve put together a full before-and-after video showcasing the moment the chimney fell and the dramatic change to the skyline.

🚀 Sturgate Straight Test Day 2025 – Drone Footage is LIVE! 🎥🔥

What a day! We had an incredible time capturing all the action at Sturgate Straight yesterday, and the footage turned out awesome. Huge thanks to everyone who came out and made it such a fantastic event!

One of our favorite moments has to be at 1:30—a Grey GTS with a father and son inside, and the lad is absolutely buzzing as his dad slides the Porsche around the cones! 😆🏎️💨
