This year we celebrate our 50th anniversary. Formed in 1976 we have remained our tradition of being a friendly, welcoming and enthusiastic club.

Our president’s father was a founder member and in keeping with tradition she has selected the speaker to open the club season which is four weeks today. It is heartening to see a family link that spans the life of the club.

As always it promises to be both informative and educational. Why not come along on evening of Thursday 3rd September and join us, doors open at 7:30 for 7:45pm start.

Focus on Nature

Findhorn was venue for the meet up on Thursday. Despite weather forecast the rain stayed away and we endured the chilly wind for an enjoyable walk around the beach on the Firth. The light at times was tricky but the good spells allowed us to capture some images. As always it was good to be out with the camera for a walk and as Henri Frederick Angel said ‘Any landscape is a condition of the spirit’.

Cummingston was venue for this weeks. The haar much of a feature this past week was present confining images to what we could find on the shore line or on the rock pools exposed by the low tide. Once again an enjoyable evening taking camera for a walk and catching up with fellow members.
