Cupcakes, Seashells, Stones & Sunsets 💥
We literally had one day of sunshine this whole month. I wanted to make the most of it. The small tornado – Noah, was unwell at home, under the supervision of mummy. The other tornado – Sophia, was the one left to be entertained.
We took one cupcake, which is a rare treat for her and headed to the beach down the road from us. She savoured every crumb of the cupcake as if it was her last meal, ever. That’s what happens when you don’t normally give sugar to your children. It was time to do what we initially came for. Collect seashells for her seashell jar at home. She spent precisely 4 seconds trying to find some and then proceeded to run and throw stones in the sea instead. That’s what happens when you put rocket fuel in a petrol engine.
After she was far from tired, but got bored, we actually sat down and watched the sunset together. For 3 seconds. Then she was off sprinting again. If you’ve got a kid around the same age (3), you know what I’m talking about. If you don’t, one day you might. And then you will know.
I loved spending time with the little Duracell bunny and practicing my photography skills.
