Those of you following my page will be aware that I have been very quiet over the past couple of years post-lockdown. Business took a twist during the pandemic and I found myself very busy with my consultancy work which has now almost completely taken over, with only a few photography jobs per year now. Let's call it semi-retirement! I will keep posting relevant stuff here every now and again, so thanks for following!

I'd like to take this opportunity to wish you and yours a very happy Christmas and a healthy and prosperous New Year! 🎅

Just over a year ago we went to Edinburgh Zoo for the first time (free entry for Chester Zoo members by the way). Luckily, we got to see one of the giant pandas there (the other was off show that day) which was great. The staff there explained that they would be returning to China soon under an agreement with the Chinese government, in fact they should have already left but covid had got in the way. Anyway, today was leaving day apparently. There is nowhere in Britain now to be able to see the giant panda. These may prove to be rare photos one day! 😂

You may have noticed that I've not posted here much this year. It's been a terrible year for everyone but especially the photographic industry. Hopefully we can bounce back strong in 2021. In the meantime, Happy Christmas to you all!
