How beautiful is little Lani? 🤍

She was one of the tiniest babies to visit the studio recently, and from the moment I wrapped her up I couldn’t get over just how perfect she was. She looked just like a little doll and slept so peacefully throughout her session.

Unfortunately, today has been a reminder of why small businesses have booking fees and cancellation policies.

As much as I always try to be understanding and accommodate individual circumstances, I've learned that trust alone doesn't keep a business running.

When a client doesn't attend an appointment without any communication, it isn't just an empty slot. It often means hours of preparation, turning away other families, arranging childcare, travelling to the studio, and losing income that can't be recovered.

Going forward, there will be no exceptions to my booking policy. All sessions will require the booking fee to secure your appointment, and my cancellation and no-show policy will apply to every booking.

I truly appreciate the wonderful clients who respect my time, communicate with me, and understand that behind Bex Peoples Photography is a small business owner and a mum doing her absolute best.

🎪 MYLEE 🎪

How amazing is little Mylee's bespoke circus cake smash?! ❤️🎂

Unlike my standard cake smash sessions, my bespoke sessions are designed completely from scratch, so no two are ever the same. We chat about your ideas, I design the set especially for your little one, and then I bring it all to life in the studio.

The best bit? You don't need to organise a thing. The bespoke session includes the custom set design, outfit and cake... all you need to bring is a hungry baby and a towel for afterwards! 😂

I absolutely loved creating this magical circus set for Mylee. Seeing it all come together and then watching her tuck into her cake made all the hard work worthwhile.

Mylee isn't new to my studio either. I first met her gorgeous mummy for her maternity session, then welcomed Mylee back for her newborn photos, and now I've had the pleasure of celebrating her first birthday too. ❤️

Watching these tiny babies grow into cheeky little toddlers is honestly one of my favourite parts of this job. It means so much when families choose me to capture all those milestones along the way. Thank you for trusting me with your memories—it never gets old.

Right... once again, I'm super behind with posting on here! 🙈

The reality is, I get completely swamped photographing gorgeous little babies and their lovely families, and there's only one of me!

This week though, I've got a little co-pilot. Gracie has joined me for her work experience, so we're cracking on and getting stuff done. 💪

Beautiful Elaia-Rae came into the studio with her lovely mamma a few weeks ago, and I absolutely fell in love with her. She was such a dream to photograph! Her nanna and auntie came along to help too, and we had such a lovely day together.

Her gallery is honestly just stunning, and it's no surprise her mummy is bursting with pride. 🥹

If you're expecting your own little bundle of joy soon, please get in touch as early as you can. I'm incredibly busy at the moment and I hate having to turn families away. I’m always so proud seeing how my clients use their images — and this one is a special one ✨

This portrait of Mesina from Psychic Whispers has recently been chosen as the cover image for her brand new podcast, which is now live and available to listen to on Apple Podcasts 🎙️

It’s such a great example of how a strong professional image can become part of your personal brand — whether that’s for podcasts, websites, social media, LinkedIn profiles or business promotion.

Headshots aren’t just “a nice photo to have”… they’re often the first impression people have of you and your work.

How gorgeous is Bobby’s safari Smash & Splash session?! 🦒🐘🌿

This setup is one of the beautiful themes from my cake smash collection, which means everything is already designed and ready for you to simply choose your favourite style and enjoy the experience.

The best part? I provide everything for your session:
• The styled setup
• The outfit
• The cake

All you need to bring is a hungry baby ready to celebrate turning ONE 🎂

After the cake smash fun, we finish the session with the splash part — a gorgeous little milk bath which babies absolutely love and parents always adore in the final gallery. It’s the perfect clean-up and gives us a second set of beautiful images to finish the session.

If you’d prefer something more personalised, there’s also the option to create a bespoke setup designed just for your little one’s birthday theme or colours.

I only take on a limited number of cake smash sessions each month so each baby gets a carefully prepared setup and plenty of time in the studio.

🦀 🐚 🌊 Beach sessions are something I only open for a very small number of families each summer… and they always disappear quickly ☀️

The beach is my happy place. It’s where I spend time with my own children, where I walk Minnie, and where I create some of the most natural, relaxed family photographs I’ve ever captured. There’s something about being by the sea that helps everyone switch off, breathe, and just enjoy being together — which is exactly when the magic happens.

These aren’t stiff, posed studio-style sessions. They’re playful, connected, full of movement, cuddles, laughter and real moments (which is why dads usually enjoy these far more than they expect!).

As mums, we’re so often the ones behind the camera. Beach sessions are about changing that — creating beautiful photographs with you in them, not just of everyone else. The kind of images that deserve a place on your walls, not hidden away on your phone.

Because beach sessions rely on the perfect mix of tide, weather, light and calm winds, I only release around 10 spaces each year so I can keep dates flexible and make sure every family gets that dreamy golden-hour glow.

To secure one of this year’s limited sessions, a £50 booking deposit is required.
