May the road rise to meet you, may the wind be always at your back. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Anyone been watching Frozen Planet 2? Such heartbreaking news about climate change! Incredible footage of this beautiful baby harp seal's first swim as he came to the cameraman to investigate what sort of sea creature was filming him. But as the storm brew up the captain of the boat explained that the storms (due to climate change) are throwing the baby harp seals off their (much smaller icebergs - due to global warming) before they can swim..... so they drown. What are we doing about it?

A year ago I built a little pond on my allotment for the wildlife, but first had to dig out weeds, brambles and raspberry canes from underneath it. A year later I'm so pleased it's still holding its water!
The branch over it is a dragonfly/ bird perch and it is filled with bricks and pebbles as an escape route for any wildlife that falls in by accident including hedgehogs. As you can see my allotment needs a good winter tidy up! The brash at the front of the photo is a pond wildlife/ amphibian home.
