Hope you got outside, wherever you were, to witness the eclipse - be it full or partial. After a fab day with my nieces, we stopped off at Hill Head. We were lucky to get a parking space!! Though not a full eclipse, it was wonderful all the same, with all the colour and light changes. I think it confused the Canadian geese, as it's the first time I've seen them fly out instead of into Titchfield Haven!

Fabulous day out with SJ at a completely restored Gertrude Jekyll Garden - The Manor House, Upton Grey (we drove passed it before we realised!). Wonderful gardens and a beautiul amount of bees. The garden is closed permanently to the public from the end of July, so be quick to get a visit in! Beautiful drive too, if you're heading on from the A32 from Fareham towards Chawton.

Fab visit to Farma of Rhodes Petting Zoo! Had a wonderful week away in Rhodes with my lovely sis-in-law Sarah and my niece, where, one day, we took the coach trip from our hotel. We all absolutely loved it. The staff were brilliant and more than happy to talk about these wonderful animals, whilst we fed them from the food provided on entrance (we paid a couple of euros or so for each tub). The animals were just amazing, including llamas, camels and cows, down to the rabbits and wild pigs and goats (watch out, they headbutt - though not that hard!) and cats that belong to the zoo. Feeding the lemurs inside their enclosure (please follow the rules given by the lemur keeper) and the racoon was an absolute highlight. After a few hours, we came out with happy hearts and huge smiles. Thank you Farma of Rhodes Petting Zoo! xx
