Ashridge House Wedding - part TWO! C&G’s wedding at definitely deserved two parts!

A relaxed 20 minute stroll around the grounds at sunset is all it takes to create beautiful couple portraits. I always encourage my couples to step away for a little while, take it all in, and enjoy a calm, present moment together before the celebrations begin.

I’m so excited to be back at Ashridge House this summer for two weddings already, and I still have a few dates left this year and next if you’re planning your day at this beautiful venue.

Ashridge House Wedding - part one. It was such a dream wedding for C&G! It had that soft romantic feel and still so warm for September. The whole day just flowed effortlessly, and it wrapped up with the best kind of party.

Charlotte looked incredible in her House of Savin gown, then later changed into the cutest Halfpenny mini with an open back adorned with an oversized bow.

Mia Sylvia - the fine art textile artist. She’s not only a visionary in the wedding world, but also one of the kindest, most inspiring women I’ve had the pleasure to meet. I’ve been following her work for years, so being invited into her creative space felt incredibly special. It was like stepping into something sacred. A space where we could all be children again, free to play, explore, and create without limits.

A whole world of dramatic yet soft fabric installations, sculptural centrepieces, and the otherworldly “alien” table (as Mia called it). Think flowing white silk, oversized bows, all set against the raw, dark earth of the English countryside, loved the contrast and the light was here to play too!

P.S. Mark my words… chair covers are making a come back.

A Night at the Opera – a workshop by and

Being able to bounce ideas around and really push my creativity in a safe space, surrounded by women from all over the world, felt like the best way to spend International Women’s Day. Every single person involved in this workshop is truly a master of their craft!

Jen’s starting point was The Phantom of the Opera and Maria, but we didn’t stay inside those lines. And that’s the thing with inspiration, it’s just a starting point. You follow it, you stretch it, and somehow you end up somewhere completely different. That’s where the magic is.

Cinema and photography are my two biggest passions, and this experience showed me a new way of bringing them together. It’s something I’ve started to weave into how I work with my couples too.

I love encouraging you to think about films that resonate with you and your partner, not to recreate scenes, but to build a vision of how you want your photos to feel. The mood, the energy, the emotions.

Because while I always capture the day as it naturally unfolds, having that shared visual language in the background allows me to create something that feels even more personal, more intentional, and completely unique to you.

Edinburgh Elopement Inspo | a week in Edinburgh highlights ✨

Finally got to visit Scotland after living in the UK for 13 years! Last August I added Ireland and Scotland to my bucket list, already checked them both.

Got to captured Julita’s stunning work-of-art dresses and meet Jo, not once but twice.

Attended my 3rd Thrive - everytime I feel Thrive meets me exactly where I’m at on my journey and answers all my questions. Such incredible talks by all the speakers.

Met the wonderful, joyful and inspiring Camila plus got to photograph alongside her in the streets of Edinburgh. Thanks for the conversations and inspiration.

And finally (but not last!) spent a few days with the most talented Thanks again for being so open, generous, for your friendship and above all giving me hope that working on both side of the Atlantic isn’t impossible.
