The roe buck from yesterday. .Technically a little more challenging due to the position of the sun, and where the buck eventually ended up closer to a hedge, meant less light and I had to manually focus through the long grass to pick up the deer. But hopefully the image conveys a little of the magic of being very close to an animal that is either unaware, or unbothered by your presence, and maintains its normal behaviours.

Some decent light last-night when I came across this roe deer doe and its sibling buck. An environment shot and a cropped portrait. Will post the buck another day :)

A young Barn Owl, I doubt this one will be here long, its sibling has already left. Moments in nature are often very fleeting, blink and they can be missed. I take every opportunity I can to get images like these and others, anyone else who does the same will understand the time, effort, sweat blood and (nearly sometimes) tears that goes into it all! Hope you enjoy.

Nice to see this Barn Owl out hunting again after a hiatus of a couple of months, presumably to tend to breeding duties.
