Well, I did a thing. I lit, filmed, directed and edited a charity music video by the person with the biggest heart: Omar Al Kotob, aka, Omar The Lion Queen. It was a scary prospect as I hadn’t really done anything but stills. But I was prepared to push myself outside of my comfort zone. I’m glad I did. Collaborating with Omar was a joy! Omar began making these videos for charity during Covid when no-one was out and charities suffered directly. Anyone wishing to donate, the chosen charity will be announced shortly.

Today. I’ve been in a sombre, reflective mood, surrounded by lovely dogs. 3 years ago today (on Mother’s Day) we lost my beloved sister Arlene to su***de.

She was the best of me. I loved her more than anyone on earth. I can’t say it’s been easy to exist without her strength, love, support, her wicked wit and sense of humour. I’m crying as I write this.

I love you and miss you so much, Arlene, as well as your little Fia, the Yorkiepoo, who we lost 2 years ago this week also. March sucks!

Shout out to all the Dog mums and moms out there. Ollie always wants to sleep with his most favourite toys around him: Albert the Chicken, a second decoy chicken (just in case we can’t buy it again - he loves him so much and was the first toy he chose when he came to live with us), Geri (his hump Buddy), Mimi, the small@giraffe he likes to suckle). He’s also started taking Albert to bed each night too.!

My boy is doing so well after weekly physio and hydrotherapy for the past few months. He’s now pain-free, has built muscle and is now using his back legs properly. So proud of him,
