Eyemouth Herring Queen 2026 Crowning Day - Part 1 of 2!
For all who were in attendance, you already know it. Saturday was a day filled with literal and metaphorical sunshine, high emotions, and good vibes all round.
Lily and her court absolutely smashed it, and did our wee town very proud. Being at the cutting edge of a day like this is such a huge privilege. Seeing it all the whole way through, I'm struck with how lucky we all are to be part of this community: lucky to have each other. The love between everyone is so evident, sharing in each other's joy, and oozes through each and every photo herein. It makes it all very easy for a photographer when everyone is wearing a permanent smile.
Once again, thank you for having me along for the ride, and stay tuned for plenty more!

Admin-y stuff: For those who couldn't make it - my intention is a full play-by-play of the day. The first ten images are highlights, while the rest are in chronological order. This album is part one. I took... a *lot* of photos. Last year I played a more casual role and could focus more on candids, away from the main portraiture. This year, I wanted to replicate that as well doing the official portraiture. It was a lot. I wouldn't change a thing.
