6 months today I’ll be embarking on probably the biggest challenge of my life. Cycling 980+ miles from Lands End to John O’Groats in 9 days in aid of Alzheimer's Society. Over the next few weeks/months I’ll be looking for companies who wish to sponsor me in exchange for plenty of mentions on social media and inclusion on the bespoke cycling kit etc I’ll be wearing for the event. If you own or work for a business who may be interested in supporting me on this crazy challenge please get in touch via Facebook or email me on [email protected]

Please follow this page for updates and feel free to share with anyone you may know who could be interested or tag them in this post. Below is a pic of the shirt I wore on my last challenge in 2019 to give you an idea.

Having a little play around with AI apps. I actually quite like these. Can you spot any familiar places?

A little stop off in Sidmouth today whilst out and about. The beach was looking lovely with the low winter sun ⛅️ 🌊 📸

Morning light at Longmarsh, part of a mile-long, flat, easy walking route alongside the River Dart in Totnes.

The walk starts on the Plains in Totnes just by the roundabout and it's ideal if you’re looking for a gentle stroll away from the hustle and bustle of town. The way is marked with purple stickers and there are markers at quarter mile intervals. From the Plains, turn right, cross the bridge, turn right at Seymour Rd, turn right at Steamer Quay Rd and follow the riverside path to its end at Longmarsh.

There is plenty to see along the way. You may spot Cormorants on the river bank and Seals often swim up river on the incoming tide from Dartmouth. Kingfishers are resident in the marshy area at Longmarsh behind the Measured Mile. The river can be busy with paddle boarders, rowing boats and the riverboat from Dartmouth.

There are benches along the way as well as a cafe, car parking and public toilets. Dogs are welcome, especially in the wide green space at Longmarsh.

Following the rainbow all the way to Ladram Bay 🌈🤩

We still can't believe Damien Charles managed to capture this magical scene, and we had to pick it as our June winner for the calendar competition 📸📅
