Third time doing PA for South Devon Big Band at Jazz Festival.

Loving the upgrade to the Allen & Heath SQ5+ mixer. The RackUltra FX Spaces hall reverb is sooo smooth. Blends into the mix and feels part of it. See my bio for a blog post link on the updates in the SQ+ mixer.

Also using the NEXO - Pro Audio Manufacturer P12 as FOH and P10 for monitors. My previous PA systems simply weren’t as clear.

Sennheiser e965 mic on vocals captured all the detail to start with.

What’s new and improved and what’s the same with the updated Allen & Heath SQ5+?

Many improvements are individually small but add up to a better overall product experience. I now have a lot more processing options than my previous SQ-5 which had barely any add-ons. Some I paid for, some I didn’t.
