Our very lovely Lauren and Tristan taking ‘the walk’ at Tunnels Beaches in September. (IYKYK) It’s sort of a crime against your wedding photos if you say no to the walk and our little faces will drop 😄 be assured being a Devon girl who spent most of her child hood weekends navigating the river exe from Topsham to Exmouth (again IYKYK!) we will know exactly when to swap the jimmy choos for the Converse and go for it. If the stars align and they often do then we get the famous Tunnels sunset too. Its also one way of getting five minutes to yourself where no-one can hear you! Pretty rare on a wedding day - honestly you will have an entourage at all times! If you haven’t walked out on the Victorian sea pool wall at Tunnels or swam in the sea pool you must add it to your ‘must do in Devon’ list. I’ve swam in the sea pool, it is the most sublime experience. Its a thing I will do at all our weddings this Summer! This is whilst guests are enjoying dinner of course not at a random moment… Steve and I have also been lucky enough to be actual guests at a Tunnels wedding!!!! Six years ago I persuaded my best friend to just have a look at Tunnels, that I bet she would change her mind from the Cotswold barn wedding she had in mind. 😆 I was her right hand girl, did a speech and everything! One of the best days EVER ❤️
So embrace the awesome landscape, it works in all weather, walk the walk, paddle, swim, hitch up that dress - we’re ready for it!!!
And thank you to our sweethearts L&T and their fab crew 😍
