When my daughter was born, I photographed every tiny detail.

Her toes.
Her fingers.
The way her hand fit in mine.

Somewhere along the way, I stopped.

Today, while looking through her baby photos with her, I realised something…

She’s 3 now.

And her details are still changing.

This is me ❤️

43 years ago.

(Shocking, I know… you all thought I was in my 20s 😂)

I spend so much time photographing beautiful babies and capturing these tiny little moments for other families, so I thought I’d share my own baby photo for once.

And do you know what makes this photo even more special?

It’s the only baby photo I have of myself.

My parents didn’t have lots of spare money, but my mam still talks about how she saved up to have this taken. Even back then, she knew how important it was to have something to hold onto.

Now, 43 years later, this photo is still treasured.

Even more so now my own little girl loves to look at this photo with me to see if we look alike 🥹❤️

That’s why I believe so deeply in what I do.

Because baby photos aren’t just for now. They’re not just for social media or the newborn stage that disappears in a blink.

They become part of your family story.
Something your children will look back on one day.
Something that only becomes more valuable with time ❤️

And honestly… I’d give anything to have more photos like this.

The sweetest little details deserve to be remembered forever 🤍

Those early newborn days pass by so quickly, along with that feeling of holding your whole world in your arms.

My newborn sessions are designed to capture those moments gently and naturally, creating timeless images you’ll treasure for years to come.

Because newborn sessions are best photographed within those first few weeks, I always recommend booking during pregnancy to ensure availability. I take on only a limited number of newborn sessions each month so every family receives a calm, relaxed experience.

Can we just take a moment for these gorgeous bridesmaids 🥹🤍

I honestly love the getting ready part of the wedding day so much. It’s always full of the best little moments - music playing, everyone running around doing last minute bits, fixing dresses and laughter.

These moments are such a huge part of the story, and I think they deserve just as much attention as the ceremony itself. Years from now, these are the photos that bring back how the morning actually felt.

And bridesmaids… you really do deserve your own appreciation post 🤍✨

Watching your babies grow from sleepy newborns into smiley little personalities is one of my favourite parts of this job. Apparently I was very entertaining during this session too 😂
These stages pass so quickly, which is why capturing every milestone feels so special 🤍
