Told you I’d be back with a bang 💥

I packed my camera & lenses away back in January & got myself ready to take on months of cancer treatment ahead, I had no idea when i’d be back behind the lens…I stupidly developed a pretty severe case of camera anxiety like a donkey 🥴 & I told myself I couldn’t do it…& I wouldn’t do it.
Well that was bloody silly wasn’t it.
Because I can do it & I absolutely did do it…& I loved it 🤗

Thank you for recommending me & thank you for going with your gut & hiring me & giving me the opportunity to be the photographer at the very first “She Speaks” Supper Club 🫶🏼

Such a fantastic evening spent with beautiful women from around Surrey of course the brilliant with her honest & inspiring talk 💕

An absolute pleasure to be involved in such a cool evening - thank you x

It’s been very quiet over here at Kimmie McNally Photography…but not out of choice. The enquiries roll in as normal so i’m constantly turning down shoots & it’s made me realise that I owe it to you guys to let you know what’s going on over here 🤍

2025 was going to be my biggest business year to date & I was so so excited BUT, life loves to throw those balls as we all know & I have had to put my little business on hold just for a moment while I find the strength to climb the biggest mountain I’ve ever had to climb.

I am lucky as I will get to the top of my mountain & I will then slide down the other side with a big cheesy grin on my face into my new chapter of life with my beautiful family & friends & my little business still sitting there waiting for me…Cancer FREE!
But yeah…I need to buckle down & focus on that mountain right now 🥴

After finding a lump in my teeny little boobie on Jan 9th, a rollercoaster of MRI’s, ultrasounds, mammograms, PET scans, CT scans, blood tests, biopsies, genetic tests & consultations unfolded.
A week later I was then diagnosed with Stage 2, Grade 3, Triple Positive (ER & PR & HER2) Breast Cancer.

Devastating 😪

BUT once we had all the results & facts & I knew it was treatable, hadn’t spread past the lymph nodes & I would walk away from this Cancer free 🙏🏼 I pulled my big girl pants on & told my 3 little boys (worst thing I’ve ever had to do in my life) & said to them, right there & then, it’s gonna be a ride boys but mums got this, let’s go 🙌🏼

Two months on & I am now 3 rounds of chemo in…13 more to go (a possibility this could be shortened to 11🤞🏼).
The chemo is doing a fantastic job already & my lovely oncologist is over the moon with the results so far…so although side effects have been brutal & basically barbaric, we know it’s working so we FOCUS & we stay POSITIVE & we keep pushing forward ticking the days off to being free from all this 🥳

Chemo…surgery…radiotherapy.

…& then I get to breathe & move on. How lucky am I 🥹 (pumped full of immunotherapy & hormone drugs for a number of years ahead but we don’t worry about that right now 😂)
