As I get myself mentally ready for my very first Gundog Working Test this Sunday, I’ve been looking back through some of my favourite photos from the Leconfield Water Test. Leconfield Working Spaniel Club

Looking at these brings back one big regret—I really wish I’d entered. I let my nerves get the better of me and bottled it, but it’s all part of the journey and a reminder that confidence comes from stepping outside your comfort zone.

Whatever happens on Sunday, I’m proud that we’re giving it a go. And if all goes well, there’s no question about it… we’ll definitely be entering Leconfield next year.

Every experience is a lesson, and every test is another step forward. 🤞🐾

Fantastic morning photographing these guys ahead of an exciting competition coming up! We had the privilege of working on some incredible ground, and the dogs gave it absolutely everything as did their owners.

Had the pleasure of photographing the Eastern County Spaniel Society Working Test a few weeks back, and it was fantastic to watch the dogs working so closely in partnership with their handlers.

The conditions were definitely challenging with the heat, but with plenty of rest breaks and water, the dogs performed brilliantly and gave it their all.

Can’t wait to get back out and photograph more working tests soon!
