As I sit at my desk making the final adjustments to my last ever wedding gallery (for Niamh and Callum), I find myself reflecting on the past 15 years.
What began as a simple hobby—capturing moments of my kids growing up—turned into something far greater than I ever imagined. And yes, I did capture those memories, but I also had the privilege of documenting countless memories along the way.
After much thought, I’m ready to share that I’m retiring the cameras professionally(for real this time). This hasn’t been an easy decision, but it feels like the right one. Life has a way of throwing challenges at us, and for me, my mental health has been a big part of that journey. Balancing two jobs for the past 20 years has also taken its toll, and I’m looking forward to focusing on just one.
For those who don’t know, my “side hustles” have been many—starting with car valeting, then moving into photography and photobooths. Each chapter has taught me something new, but photography has been the most rewarding of all.
None of this would have been possible without my incredible customers. Your trust, kindness, and support have meant the world to me. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your milestones and memories—it’s been an honour.
