It wont be long now till I hopefully get mobile again and get back out to taking images of scenes like this in the Lammermuir Hills south of Gifford in Eastern Scotland.

Thankfully, my good friend, Shane Hardy took me out last week for some time in the Scottish hills which were blooming with Heather. You can’t beat the views and the isolation of being on th as roads again.

Best Wishes and sorry for the dearth of posts folks

Hi Folks,

Well, it has been a long time since I posted due to me having a severe stroke back in May 2021. I haven't had much time to get out for photos as I have no transport and no ability to get out right now.

However, I managed to get out with a friend last weekend and managed a few shot. This is one from Glen Etive that I managed to take with a couple of stags in the foreground.

Best Wishes and thanks for all the support

***** SOLD - PENDING COLLECTION *******
Thanks so much for all the shares folks

Ever wondered how I have to get so close to some of my wildlife that I shoot. Well, this is the answer.

I am having to sell my prime wildlife lens due to my stroke in May which has left me without the use of my right arm and hand🥵🥵🥵💔💔

Canon 600mm F4 L ii USM Prime Lens complete with unused brand new trunk case and neoprene camouflage coverings.

In immaculate condition.
£ 7,000

Please get in touch if there is anyone out interested before I advertise it on eBay. I would rather see it go to a follower.
Best Wishes

"Lest we forget"

"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning

We will remember them."

Let us all remember those that fought and died to give us the opportunities we enjoy today.

"The Last Boat Home"

Another one from the archives taken during my trip to Glenfinnan and Arisaig. A fishing boat returns to shore after a day out.

"Let there be Light"

I am going through a lot of archives right now under lockdown and stumbled across a few light trail shots I done in Glen Coe, Scotland on the way home from a landscape shoot a few years back now.

The scene is of the three sisters mountains, one of the most spectacular landscape drives in Scotland. Add in some light trails at night and I think it makes a nice scene.

I'd just like to point out that this is an ARCHIVED shot as I haven't been able to get out my county for months due to covid lockdown restrictions.

Hope you like it folks. Stay safe and healthy out there and hopefully normality will return to us real soon.

Best Wishes

"Things happen for reasons - Who knows how or why but they do". I have learnt to not try and work it all out but just to go with the flow.

This is an ARCHIVED shot from a few back. (I'm not venturing outside our council right now due to the covid restrictions). Myself and a friend had set out the previous night to photograph the Aurora Borealis down in East Lothian. I wont bore you with the details but we ended up marooned on an island and had to sit it out until the tide had turned and we could get back off again.

We were baltic by the time we headed back to Edinburgh and decided to pop in for a McDonalds breakfast. The only issue at that time was that the only one open was in South Queensferry.

We were sitting eating our Mickey D's unhealthy breakfast at the bridges and then this lovely sunrise transpired. No Aurora that night but a lovely sunrise and a few lessons never forgotten.
Looking forward to getting back out soon and taking some more landscape and wildlife shots.

Take care everyone and stay safe and healthy
