I discovered my love of photography by accident when I got my dog and started walking around the beautiful place I call home.

Before long it became a bit of an obsession. I love candid photography and capturing moments when the subjects don't even realise I am snapping them ( I am not a stalker honestly). I am also a health scientist, nutritionist, artist and science tutor and a parent to one very inquisitive eight year old.We both have ADHD so our world is very bright and energetic and often a bit chaotic. I love life a

nd everything in it and I think this comes across in my pictures, at least I hope it does. A friend once told me that she thinks I take pictures with my heart, I think she's right.

I finally got the camera out for the first time in over a year yesterday. The birds have been flocking around my feeders since I started filling them again with it getting so cold and snowy here a few weeks back. I love watching them feeding. Tried using my phone to take some shots and quickly got frustrated with that. So pulled the Nikon and my Tamron telescopic lens out and sat out as long as I could tolerate the cold for yesterday.

Have fallen in love with foraging. Not great photos as more focused on the fungus than the photos these days
