I'm a wedding and love story photographer who enjoys silly dancing and romantic stories. I'm known for pretty much living in cosy jumpers as much as possible, my big toothy smile and my hearty laugh. I have an unhealthy love for stationary and enjoy munching Thai food, listening to Bon Iver, watching Grey's Anatomy with my mum, art by David Fleck and getting outdoors to escape the hustle & bustle

of the city, with my handsome musician man in our little Postman Pat mobile (it's an old red VW Polo Estate and we love it). Most days you can find me either out exploring my beautiful Edinburgh/Scottish home land, working at my cute little home desk or curled up on the sofa with a good book or movie (nearby there'll be a cup of tea that is most likely to still be half-full having become cold before I finish it).

A gorgeous morning at the stunning Errol Park for Holly & Lewis. This was the start of what went on to be a truly epic day - the energy was high and there was SO much joy and love in every single moment of the day. A little throwback to this belter of a day at for Collette & Iain.

Cake during your afternoon reception? Yes. Please. Baked by the bride herself? Mind. Blown. I just love seeing a tradition done with any twist to fit the couple and who they are - who says you have to cut the cake in the evening for the buffet?! Who says you even have to cut the cake? Or have one in the first place? Do what speaks to you as a couple - follow your instincts and shape your day into what is essentially a manifestation of your personalities - that’s where the best moments come alive.

Some couple portraits from Blythe & Graeme’s wedding at the lovely . The rhododendrons at Balbirnie are insaaaanely beautiful! Blythe & Graeme were just a pure joy to photograph - they had a super relaxed wedding, lots of time with their guests, the sun was out and it was the kind of day where the temperature was juuuust right. So many heartfelt moments through the day, it was the perfect balance of energy and serenity and they were so at ease with other. The loveliest people 🥹

Finding a mix of the chaos and the calm in Lauren & Simon’s previews. Excited to edit and deliver this gallery very soon and share more from such an excellent day.

Candid shots are my favourite part of a wedding. The moments where you’re walking into the reception, hugging and talking to your loved ones, family and friends taking cute photos together, the moves thrown on the dancefloor, the meandering and socialising and conversations you don’t see happening. These moments are where the best stuff sits. It’s a massive privilege to be there to witness and capture a snapshot of them. 🥰

Kicked off my season at the end of March with the glorious Kay & Lee at .

I’ve known Kay for a long time now (if you need brows/lashes/tan, she’s your gal! 👀), so when she asked me to photograph her & Lee’s wedding in Glencoe it was of course an immediate yes. Seeing Kay’s vision for the day come together and to finally get to personally witness their love and joy was just so special 🥹

Ela & Michael’s wee wedding was an intimate and relaxed day with family & friends travelling over to Scotland to celebrate their love. We started with some calm morning preparations, romantic couple portraits around some Edinburgh spots ahead of their ceremony in the gorgeous Craigmillar Castle, then onto The Abbey for a super chilled dinner, heartfelt speeches and some epic dance moves on the makeshift pub dancefloor. Their day was such a lovely example of stripping things back in a way that felt so aligned with what they envisioned for the start of their next chapter and I’m so grateful I could be there to capture it for them.

My first visit to The Barn at Barra Castle was for Kirstin & Calum’s gorgeous celebration and what an absolute belter of a day we got! I shot this day on a mix of film & digital (see a previous post for the film scans, I’m in love!), and there were just so many moments of joy to capture. These two and their loved ones had such a soft & welcoming energy about them and a connection clearly deep-rooted in loving values and a warmth that filled the room.
