So much stunning lingerie and incredible shoes coming through our doors at the moment. Our faves for ***ir will always be sky high heels. The designer himself patented the scarlet underside and has said "I selected the colour because it is engaging, flirtatious, memorable and the colour of passion”. Enough said.

I want (and need) to say the biggest thank you to and her husband Mark for literally saving yesterday. On Sunday morning I was at the NEC ready for and I tested positive on a lateral flow. I was upset to be letting down but my biggest concern was Aditi and Miguel whose wedding Brent and I should have photographed yesterday in the Roman Baths. In 11 years I have never missed a wedding and I was determined to not let my couple down because the photography was a very important aspect of their day. Understanding the situation, our wonderful colleagues and great friends immediately offered to shoot in our place despite knowing that the Baths at night are about as tough as it technically gets…and Aditi and Miguel agreed to the back up plan. After an intense briefing we handed over a car load of Sony and kit. I was on the phone throughout as they pinged me images to check lighting etc.

What dreadful times these are and I can confirm the virus is nasty even when double jabbed. However, as always there is a silver lining and for me it was the wonderful camaraderie and team effort that followed. I can never thank Elizabeth and Mark enough and a text today from the couple stated that they “were wonderful…very diligent and passionate with a wonderful attention to detail”.

I know there are lots of exhausted photographers out there. Like us shooting a year of weddings in 4 months. This post is for all of you. The community. But particularly for Elizabeth and Mark 🙏🏻. You superstars.

So...my food photography has a new home. If you are into food (who isn’t!) then pop over to .bylumiere and you can keep an eye on my tv debut. I’ll be filming a MasterClass on how to bring food to life through photography, styling and lighting. Wish me luck - after presenter training at .tv yesterday I can tell you it’s a lot harder than it looks! X
