ANNOUNCEMENT FOR 2020 ACTIVITIES:

CANCELLED
It is with great regret that, due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the resulting lockdown, our exhibition is postponed to next year.

INVITATION
However keep spotting and taking photos to inspire others and yourself, and then send your best pictures by 31 October to become part of a 2021 CALENDAR to raise funds for St Michael's Church.

Last day of the exhibition today, and of course we end with a free concert at 4pm. It will be a blast.

The exhibition will close with a concert by "Twelfth Day." Esther Swift on pedal harp and Catriona Price on fiddle call themselves ..."not so much a duo, but a two person quartet."

They are happy to be hard to define. Classically trained they mix folk, jazz and classical influences in their own compositions and arrangements, inspired by their Scottish upbringing and the issues of today.

Today, 10th August, is the big launch and prizegiving for the Inspired Photo competition. Everyone is welcome.

The winner of the Then & Now category is Mathew Reilly with his shot of Gorgie Road.

Well done Mathew.

The prize giving is tomorrow at 2pm - woohoo.

All winning and shortlisted images will be in the final exhibition which will open on 10th Aug, and the prizegiving will be at 2pm with an organ and piano concert between 4-5pm. The exhibition will then be open every day between 11am and 4pm from 10-18th August.

On 18th August at 4pm the exhibition will close with a concert by "Twelfth Day."
