I am an award winning lifestyle photographer working in Scotland, and I excel at shooting beautiful portraits, weddings and creative PR photography. I’m honoured that my work is currently exhibited in the National Portrait Gallery and Scottish Portrait Gallery. Photographing people is my main love and this translates into all areas of my work – family shoots, promoting visitor attractions, documen

ting large organisations like the RSPB and Woodland Trust as well as helping to brand local businesses. I also have a wealth of experience photographing the ASN community, both through family sessions and shooting positive images to promote the disabled community within businesses and schools. I’m an ASN parent myself, so have plenty of experience at home too! Please drop me a line whatever your photography needs, I’d love to hear from you…

Oh my! Happy 100th Birthday to the most respected and inspiring man on the planet, Sir David Attenborough! I spent an incredible afternoon photographing him on Bass Rock just off North Berwick. What a remarkable human, it was such an honor to get to speak with him and take his portrait. Happy Birthday Sir David x

Delighted to announce that this portrait of my daughter, entitled 'The Nursery' has just been shortlisted for the Scottish Portrait Awards! And my girl is incredibly excited to hear that her dolls will be gracing the walls of the Scottish Portrait Gallery in the exhibition of finalists from November! This particular portrait is part of a longer term project entitled 'Safe', celebrating the joy and mindful moments that can come with neurodiversity and complex needs. Thank you Scottish Portrait & Landscape Awards 🌟

Getting your face out there can seem scary, but in this world of doom scrolling and AI content, it's more important than ever for small brands to tell the stories behind their business. My yearly photography subscription package will open again soon for new applicants, and places will be limited so drop me a line if you'd like to find out more 📸

Ah, 2016 nostalgia...This was the year I finally felt like embracing life again after the death of my husband in 2012. My daughter was now a joyful and feisty four year old and I loved being around her. I was really enjoying my photographic commissions and I launched a 365 project at home to record my daughter growing up, attempting to take one photo a day. This project changed the way I shot for clients, the way I looked for light, the way I noticed small moments. It was the start of a new way of shooting and I treasure the record of my daughter's childhood from that time.

However 2016 was also the year my daughter was the most ill as it was still a year before she was finally diagnosed with the rare genetic condition Prader Willi Syndrome. She was in and out of hospital with croup, tonsillitis, progressive strep on the brink of sepsis, multiple falls and head bangs, a fractured foot....we were in A&E so much I genuinely worried they'd contact social services. Plus she was bounced between consultants for her challenges and developmental delay, so many referrals, appointments and advocacy. What a mixed bag 2016 was.

And here we are, ten years later. She is happier and healthier, the hospital is still a large part of our life but due to getting her diagnosis it's mainly routine and we're old hands at it now, nothing much phases me. My photography has gone from strength to strength, as has my love for how it enriches my life. Sat here hugely thankful for where I'm at. My life is far from perfect but it's a good one...

Huge congratulations to my fab photography client Lynne Mills, the founder of Girl Meets Brush, pictured here in a portrait shot earlier this year! It's been such a pleasure working with her on shoots throughout 2025. Wishing her another epic 10 years in business! Please go give her business a follow, she's one to watch 🔥🔥🔥
