Very happy to share that Cairngorm has been officially selected to screen at the 18th Annual Lady Filmmakers Festival in Los Angeles this September 🎬

Following the devastating wildfires across the Cairngorms this summer, the music video has taken on a meaning we could never have anticipated. Many of the landscapes we captured have since been affected by the fires, making me even more grateful that we were able to preserve a small piece of their beauty on film.

It feels incredibly special to now see Cairngorm travel from the Scottish Highlands to the big screen in LA, and to have the work of everyone who helped bring it to life recognised in this way.
A huge thank you to the Festival for selecting our music video - and to my wonderful team who made it possible. 🤍

Remembering Cairngorm 🌿 My favourite locations ❤️

Loch Vaa, Inshriach Forest, Glenmore and of course, the Cairngorms.

Our thoughts are with everyone who has been working tirelessly to protect the Cairngorms, especially Stevie Macleod, who not only wrote the beautiful track for this MV, but has also been one of the Forestry and Land Scotland team on the front line, helping to protect the very landscape that inspired it. Wishing safety to everyone working through these incredibly difficult days. ❤️

Watching the devastation from wildfire unfold across the Cairngorms this week has been utterly heartbreaking. The pain my friends, family and I have felt watching the place we grew up - the place where so many of our most treasured memories were made, and one that has shaped who I am - burn like that is indescribable.

When I made the music video Cairngorm, my team and I wanted to celebrate the beauty, resilience and ever-changing life of this extraordinary landscape. So many of the places we filmed have now been affected by the fires, and this video has taken on a meaning none of us could have anticipated.

I’m sharing it not to look back, but to honour a landscape that means so much to so many, and to preserve a glimpse of the beauty that has now been changed forever.

We’re incredibly grateful we were able to capture these places as they were, preserving a moment in time and the wild beauty that has inspired generations. While no film can replace what’s been lost, we hope this video can now serve as a quiet reminder of why these places matter, and why protecting them is more important than ever.

Marking 60 years since Truman Capote’s Black and White Ball at The Plaza Hotel, this series reimagines the tension between status, spectacle, and exclusion that defined the “Party of the Century”. Rendered in colour, Severance examines how identity is performed and controlled, and how visibility continues to define power, access, and belonging.

Still taking this in…what a fabulous day. 🥂

As part of a panel presented by the , I spoke on the Edinburgh STYLE stage alongside the extraordinary and  , discussing what it means to build a fashion career between Edinburgh and London. It was so encouraging to see such a strong turnout and engagement around the realities of working in Scotland - from the depth of talent here to the ongoing questions around visibility, opportunity, and how we can continue to strengthen support for creatives here.

A real highlight for me was sharing the stage with Judy Clark - someone who has inspired me from the very beginning, and who I’m now proud to call not just a long-time collaborator, but a good friend.

Thank you to everyone who came, listened, and contributed to the conversation. It felt like an important one. ❤️

THAT’S A WRAP. 🚀
Hell of a year.

2025 lived mostly on the road - I don’t think I’ve travelled this much in a single year, ever. What a ride.

Endless gratitude to everyone who made it what it was - clients, collaborators, colleagues, friends, family, old faces and new. I love you all to death.

And somehow… so much of this year’s work is still under wraps.
Stay tuned for 2026.

Again next year? Nice.
