Conor O'Dwyer had this model-worthy photoshoot go brilliantly, even though we had planned basically nothing ahead of time. It was a pleasure working with someone so comfortable in front of the camera, making some of my most enjoyable shoots in this city to date come to life!

Who knew red could be so powerful? Once again, back in October, me and the wonderful Meg Mog took to Dean Village, and captured these magnificent shots. They took little care of the stressful world around them, and let loose - even if just for a moment! Words to live by.

A couple of brilliant headshots and profiles of the amazing Meg Mog in the little patches of waterways and greenery that scatter this concrete jungle we call home that were taken all the way back in October!

Hi there! I'm a freelance portrait, business, and event photographer based and operating in Edinburgh.

I currently specialise in single person portrait photography, graduation shoots, food photography, and indoor events.

With me, you don't get typical, flat photos from a studio shoot, although I'm more than happy to oblige if that is what you're after! You will get a session that is filled with expression, emotional vigour, and creative flair, because a photograph is meant to capture life and personality that sticks to eternal memories.

I am also a fully "pay-as-you-feel" photographer, meaning for my shoots, I don't set the prices for the shoots, you do! You will still get the same, amazing sessions no matter what you pay. So it doesn't matter if you're a full time student, or an independant Scottish business, or anything else for that matter, you just have to pay what you feel. This is to ensure that photography, and the subsequent memories and stories that are told, are accessible to as many people as possible.

And one more special announcement! Every single month, I will have a small amount of completely free slots open for anyone who wants to apply. These will either be for targetted themes, events, or good causes/charity.

Please, message me with any questions, queries, proposals, collaborations, or anything else for that matter!

A wonderful Mental Health photoshoot with the amazing Meg Mog, shot in New Calton graveyard back in October! The plan and weather that day meant we couldn't do much outside of this shoot, but I am absolutely shocked at how beautiful they turned out, thanks in part to Meg and their wonderful modelling, even tho as it turns out, this was their first time in front of a camera! Stunning!

A few months back, me and the amazing Emily Mahi'ai took to the city to explore the themes of mental health for Mental Health awareness week. It was an amazing shoot, and we both had a great time discussing and showcasing that normal looking people can have mental health issues, professional or self diagnosed.

As you can probably tell, its been a lil while since Mental Health awareness week happened - that's because I myself was also struck by some negative times (and a positive PCR test). But I couldn't let those downtimes keep these amazing photos from seeing the light of day. I hope we all keep an open mind about life and keep our mental health safe in this difficult time, and appreciate all the little things that give us joy.

And as we enter the New Year, I will be increasing my volume of work and showcasing new people, new stories, and new perspectives that I myself have never previously captured.

Took the beautiful Margot to the Botantical Gardens to create some happy memories of Edinburgh before she potentially leaves the country, on what turned out to be the last day of good weather for the year in Scotland.

(We also ended up almost getting trapped inside because it closed whilst we were inside😅)

Helped Marco and his lovely partner to celebrate and remember their one year anniversary of being together with a lovely trip to Dean Village and the Water of Leith walkway - the beauty of true love combined with the beauty of the city makes one hell of a photo shoot! What a cute couple!😍

Took these beautiful shots with my first amazing client in this amazing city of Edinburgh, Joan Kibagendi, on a fun day out in Dean Village. Captured the last rays of summer sun before Scottish winter took over - lucky!
