I do love a botanical garden to wander around in, a bit like the zoo it's one of my favourite things to do.
We really wanted to visit Tresco Abbey Gardens at the Scilly Islands, and was one of the main reasons for the trip.
Absolutely wonderful place if gardens are your thing, and a bonus too, there are Red Squirrels. Happy Happy!

WOW! Can’t believe this picture is 15 years old.
I can remember the evening I took it, I was in the Pentlands looking for weasels (no joy!) but walking back down you could see the haar rolling in covering the city in a cloak of cloud. By the time I reached the car park the city was covered.
