My HND journey!

The first assignment, Hidden Scotland, is complete.
I chose to build a nine-image narrative around the Royal Scotsman by Belmond — a glimpse into premium travel at Edinburgh Waverley. A perfect mix of heritage, atmosphere, and luxury.

It was very interesting trying to build a story through images. It was very different from most of the projects I had done so far.

It’s been a while since I last shared anything here.
Sometimes, you need to step back before you find inspiration again.

These moments are from my time in Rome last week with ❤️— a city where every street corner feels like a museum, every shadow holds a story, and the light seems to fall just right. Walking among its ancient walls reminded me why I fell in love with photography in the first place as it was the first place i visited with my first DSLR camera — to freeze those quiet moments that feel eternal.

After a bit of a break from posting, I’m back with my camera in hand. Life pulled me in different directions, but I’ve realised it’s time to give my photography the focus it deserves. I’ve just started studying HND Photography at Edinburgh College — a step towards turning this passion into something more. I am excited for this new beginning and to share more of my journey here in.

Yesterday, I had the absolute pleasure of reconnecting with my good old friend after years apart. Our catch-up was long overdue, and it felt amazing to share stories over coffee—and even capture a few portraits right there during our chat!

Afterward, we explored Edinburgh College, which we were lucky enough to have all to ourselves—a rare sight! We wrapped up the session with a few more shots around the Writer’s Museum.

It was such a special day filled with laughter, creativity, and great memories.
