My way of taking some control during a time where I felt like I had none: I commissioned a n**e photoshoot the week before my last chemo. This was over 9 years ago now, and this is still one of my all-time favourite photos.

The Usher Hall is such an iconic building in Edinburgh. Today it was the host to Open University Graduation ceremonies.

Ok, just completed a VERY interesting exercise that I think we should ALL do.

I thought my Personal Facebook privacy was set pretty high until I did this.

I set up another Facebook account using an old email I still have access to and logged in on my computer, then searched for me and viewed the photos and information that ANYONE can see. There was lots more there than I thought would be and most of them were Cover or Profile Photos as these NEED to be Public when you post them. Even although my Friends list is private and most photos had no comments associated with them, it is still possible to see who has Liked them and so trace friends.
At the same time on my iPad, I was able to go into my usual account and look up these photos and Edit Privacy to read "Friends" thereby ending up with NOTHING showing publicly except my current Profile and Cover Photos.

Now I need to remember to change the Privacy on my cover & Profile photos every time I change them . . . and do this wee audit on a regular basis [setting a diary reminder right now].
For those of you that have kids on Facebook, I think this is an essential audit to do to ensure you know what info is public. You may choose to change Privacy on all or nothing but at least it will be an informed choice.

Happy 1st Anniversary to a wonderful couple Mrs & Mrs Fahey! They had such a fun wedding day with friends and family at Tapa near The Shore. It was an honour to be part of.
