we’ll be around Lago di Garda and Milan/Bergamo in the next couple weeks before moving on to Tuscany, so if you’re around, let’s schedule a time to shoot!

Will be in Scotland as well and a last minute dates available in first 2 weeks of November & first week of December.

this is a wild season, but still nowhere as wild as when these two had to submit their 500 page visa application TWICE, get rejected by the Home Office, seek help from a couple of MPs, get Mother of the Groom featured with their story in local newspaper and almost fight the Home Office with their bare hands before finally being given the Marriage Visa just 2 weeks before their wedding. I am so very happy to testify that their love is 100% legit even though Craig seems to care about their dog Jamie almost just as much as about his now wife Sarah! But he really cares about him a lot. 🐕

What would you like to do on your wedding day? ⁠

✅ Wake up to a misty morning in a little white hikers bothy.⁠
✅ Go for a walk with your three dogs.⁠
✅ Get dressed together and then walk to the lochside to share your wedding vows with just the celebrant and two witnesses as the rain approaches.⁠
✅ Brave the rain and toast with whisky from quaich and embrace your love in the tradition of hand-fasting, the two pieces of fabric which remain individual but are entwined together. ⁠
✅ Explore waterfalls and run up the hills with your doggos.⁠
✅ Have some time for yourselves before meeting up again in the evening for a sunset hike to an epic spot. ⁠
✅ Walk back to the van as the night falls and the hem of the dress is little muddy.⁠
⁠
You've got the freedom to choose what you'd like to do on your wedding day. To choose the traditions which work for you. To do the activities which you love and which are meaningful to you. To surround yourself with the people you cannot imagine doing this without or to share the day just between the two of you.

so that stranger and friend may come and warm himself at it.

Dean & Nathan’s day has been postponed multiple times but it was really worth the wait! They got wonderfully sunny day in their favourite city as we walked the cobblestoned streets of the Old Town after they got married at the Edinburgh’s City Chambers, before ending up in a bar for some celebratory gin and tonic of course. Their story is now up on the blog! 🌈⁠
